Workshop Description
Drilling session for hardcore dancers. Come to train. Train hard and see results. This unique formula is a staple in Marta's own practice and weekly classes in Perth.
This particular workshop for WAMED 2019 will focus on a Hip Circuit within Marta's hardcore drills formula. Inspired by the traditional circuit training formula this teaching style developed by Marta is a form of body conditioning and endurance training which Marta uses regularly in her practice at a high intensity to achieve her supreme technique. Marta is an Australian certified fitness instructor and is a strong advocate of safe dance practice and conducts her drills in a trialled and safe manner for Bellydancers.
For this Hip Circuit we will learn a set of hip techniques and fuse them into individual combos which we will then drill as a circuit. We will aim to master the combos and complete the prescribed movements within this drill session. This workshop is perfect for all WAMEDancers as we will focus on the participants' ability to articulate movements, build vocabulary and extend range rather than focus on specific stylisation.
