This is a 6 week fitness Bellydance program which will strengthen, condition, lubricate and free almost every aspect of your body! I have been working on this program for months during my fat loss journey.

How this program works:
Each week, follow the prescribed exercises, Bellydance moves and stretches. If you live a very active lifestyle, you can rest assured that you will see significant results from 1 session per week, however if you are starting from zero or basically no exercise routine, I would recommend performing the prescribed weekly program 3-5 x per week. This way you’ll see results quickly.

There is a video corresponding to each week, so you’ll have the PDF notes and the videos to follow along!

My fat loss journey:
Before Covid, I was based in Perth, Western Australia, teaching regular classes every week and performing back to back gigs at restaurants, shisha lounges and private events. So I was very fit and training almost every day! Once Covid hit, I lost all my contracts because the establishments couldn’t open and I couldn’t run my classes. So, with the future looking uncertain, I made the move back to Queensland to be with my mum and the rest of my family. This completely changed my life! My physical activity levels changed, my diet changed (from hardcore vegetarian - basically vegan) to regular diet with meat. I met my incredible boyfriend and began indulging in decadent meals from restaurants, eating entrées, mains and desserts with my beautiful boyfriend spoiling me any chance he could! And with lot’s of travel and indulging from 2022 - 2023 I gained about 20kg! (OMG right?). So the mission began to loose 20kg and I am so pleased to say that I accomplished this in September 2023 and still maintaining my goal weight! I’ll add a link here soon with more juicy details.

A note on diet:
There is no secret tip, quick fix or pill to loose fat. You need a strong enough will to reach your goal, a form of exercise you enjoy, the discipline to stay in a calorie deficit and the self respect to show up consistently.

My top tip:
The number one thing I recommend is consistency. Without dedication and consistency, you will not see the results you hope for. While Bellydancing, I also incorporated other lifestyle changes to my diet, and levels of physical activity. My favourite physical activities are: basketball, roller skating, swimming laps and free swimming, walking, and more.

Other things to note:
As women, we are cyclic and it’s important for us to understand that our menstrual cycle can have an impact on our energy levels. When we are bleeding, we can go easy and practice less intensive exercises like walking, soft Bellydancing and swimming. Light exercise can help ease PMS and other symptoms, it can also help you to maintain your consistency and ensuring you are keeping to your new physical lifestyle.
